Frequently Asked Questions

How long does delivery take?

We aim to have your beam delivered to your door between 3-7 days of ordering. Once the beam has been produced, we dispatch via 24hr courier (UPS, FedEx or DPD) with full tracking sent to your email address.

What size do I need?

We usually recommend going around 10cm in from either end of your chimney breast. So, for a 140cm chimney breast, we'd recommend a 120cm beam.

If you're really unsure, simply pop some masking tape on the wall to help visualise the beam on the wall!

If you need a specific size (i.e. 115cm), simply select the next option up (120cm in this case) and contact us after you've placed the order. We can do any and all sizes needed

Does the beam come with fixings?

Yes, all of our beams & shelving come with fixings included in the package.

The type will depend on the specific product. For beams that sit 10cm or less from the wall (i.e. 10x10cm or 10x15cm), you'll receive keyhole fixings pre-installed into the beam.

For beams or shelves sitting more than 10cm from the wall (i.e. 12.5x12.5cm, 15x15cm beams, or 7cm/10cm thick shelves), we'll include heavy duty 12mm floating fixings, with pre-drilled holes in the rear.

Our 2cm thick shelves come with matching oak blocks to be fitted into an alcove.
